Late Arrivals

If you have a booking and are going to be late due to a late arrival of a plane, delayed plane flight etc, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make contingency arrangements for you.

Letting us know after closing time is not reasonable if you have known for a while that you will be late and are able to make contact.

$200 Bond

A security deposit of NZD 200 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.


Terms of Stay

1.    Guests arriving after 21:30 hours must contact the motel prior to their arrival to arrange for an after-hours check-in.

2.    Payment is required upon check in.

3.    Please note that this property has a strict 'No Party Policy'. Guests are required to sign the property's Terms of Stay upon arrival. Failure to comply with property policies may result in the eviction of guests and the loss of any deposits or payments made.   Also Guests must not interfere with the harmonious running of the motel.

4.    Please note for bookings of four or more rooms, different policies and procedures may apply. For further information please contact the property in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.

5.    A security deposit of NZD 250 by credit card is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. Any commercial accommodation be it hotel, motel or B & B will typically take a credit card imprint on arrival with a bond placed onto it that is at least the equivalent of one night’s accommodation. If no credit card available, then cash will be asked for at a similar minimum level. This is standard accommodation sector practice. 

6.    Guests are expected to behave in a manner which doesn’t disturb other guests

7.    All visitors must leave by 10.00 pm.

8.    Guests are responsible for any damage to motel property that they cause.

9.    Quiet time is 10.00 pm and 6.30 am.  Like many motels we do not have good sound insulation between our rooms.  Please be considerate of other guests during that time both inside and outside your rooms.

10.    Do not move motel fixtures and fittings around without getting management permission

11.    Please report any problems with your room to management as soon as possible after they occur so that we can remedy them quickly.  Asking for a refund at check out time when the problem could easily be remedied or room changed is not acceptable.

12.    Smoking in rooms  is against the law.  Please use the tables and chair outside the rooms.  Please be considerate of other guests and use the ashtrays provided.  Ask management if you need any extra ashtrays.

13.    No guests may use our rooms to conduct their business without first obtaining our permission.  

14.    No cooking of smelly foods such as fish, curries etc.  Those who do so may  be liable for extra cleaning charges to remove the smell.

15.    Notwithstanding the Human Rights Act, the motel reserves the right to refuse to accept any booking at any time.
